Overview

This policy explains what information Swepee collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled. Swepee is a service that turns podcast videos into short vertical clips with captions.

We collect as little as the product needs to work, and we do not sell personal information.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit and the time you submitted it. We use it for one purpose: to tell you when early access opens. You can ask us to remove it at any time, and we delete waitlist addresses that never convert to accounts after launch.

Account information

When accounts are available, Swepee uses your email address to sign you in with a one-time code. You may also choose a display name. We do not store passwords.

Content and job data

When you create a clip job, Swepee records the source URL, your selected clip settings, job progress, job history, and the generated clips, so it can process the job and show the results in your account.

You can delete a job from your account; deleting a job removes its generated clips from the service.

Processing services

Swepee sends one-time login codes through its configured email delivery service.

To create clips, Swepee may send the audio or text needed for transcription and moment selection to the transcription and language-model providers configured for the service. These providers process the material to return transcripts and moment selections; they are not permitted to use it for their own advertising.

Media and sharing

Only submit media that you have permission to use. Generated clip links should be treated as shareable links: anyone who receives a clip link may be able to access that clip.

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal material unless you are comfortable with the processing described above.

Cookies and analytics

Swepee uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a local preference to remember your theme. There is no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your account data and generated clips within a reasonable period, except where a copy must be retained to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights and contact

You may request a copy of the personal information Swepee holds about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. Contact us through the address published on the site and we will respond within a reasonable time.
